Why am I writing this? Well, when I was thinking about buying the Calorie Shifting Diet, there weren’t many real reviews around, so I thought I’d write one quickly to help any of you, who are in the same position I was.

Be aware that there are several options, that you have, 3 of which I will cover below, since I am familiar with them.

I’ll also be going into both the good and the bad points of the calorie shifting diet, so if that’s something you might not want to hear, then you may as well leave now.

After trying out countless weight loss products, I accidently came across the calorie shifting diet.

After a couple of days of online research, I decided to give it a try.

The calorie shifting diet plan is based on the fact, that you will eat different amounts of calories each day to confuse your metabolism, which forces your body to burn fat faster.

The Pros (what I really liked) about the Calorie Shifting Diet:

  • The Calorie Shifting Diet gives you 3 “cheat days” every 11 days, where you can eat any food your heart desires.
  • It is safe and natural for anyone.
  • Since you buy your own food it doesn’t rip a hole in your budget.
  • No expensive pre-packed foods and supplements to buy.
  • Preparation is easy, you can do it any way you want.
  • The calorie shifting diet generator counts the calories for you.
  • It’s affordable to buy, no monthly fee, but unlimited access to their online diet generator.
  • The calorie shifting diet plan is easy to understand and easy to follow.

Here is what I did not like so much about the Calorie Shifting Diet:

-

  • They require you to do some light walking every day. Here I did have my issues with, so I only walked 2-3 times a week.  I was really sore in the beginning, but after a while I got used to it. Still don’t like it all that much, but it really helped to speed up the dieting process
  • Every once in a while the Calorie Shifting Diet Generator gives you some weird choices like eating some cheese together with sour cream. That annoyed me in the beginning quite a bit, but over time I learned, how to overrule the menu plan with something, that actually made sense.

Despite those 2 drawbacks, I have to say, that the calorie shifting diet worked really well for me as you can see in the picture above.

Since I had also bought the add-on they offer, which is called Beyond Calories, I tried that one, too.

I had already made my first 11 day round and really wanted to give it a boost.

With Beyond Calories you are allowed to eat up to 6 times a day and you have a lot more food choices.

It’s pretty much an accelerated version off the  Calorie Shifting Diet, which you’ll do for 10 days instead of 11 days and

WOW!! I lost 2lbs. more in 10 days, than I had lost my first 11 days.

Now this one I really loved!

Meanwhile, another website has surfaced and they are basicly offering the same thing.

Main difference is, that they have a TRIAL Version for 1 Month for merely $4.95.

It’s a membership site, so after the initial first month, they’ll charge you $19.95 for each month you’ll stay on as a member.

They have a community support forum, where you can communicate with other calorie shifting diet club members, which is a neat thing, really.

Calorie Shifting is based on the premise that you can manipulate your body’s metabolism at will – simply by shifting calories you eat from meal to meal.

Day 1:

Meal #1:

  • Scrambled Eggs
  • Tuna Salad Plate

Meal #2:

  • Turkey Slices
  • Shrimp

Meal #3:

  • Hard Boiled Eggs

This is going to cleanse your body in order to prepare your body to start losing more weight.

Always drink 8-10 glases of water throughout the day.


You are allowed to eat as much as you want until you are satisfied.

You can swap the order in which you eat those 4 meals at your liking.

You should eat one meal every 3 hours throughout the day.

After 11 days you will get to have 3 cheat days, where you can eat whatever you want to, after that you’ll start another 11 days of calorie shifting.

As you can see calorie shifting is quite easy to follow and very satisfying. With the online diet generator, you can choose between several foods, that you like and it will give you then your very own personalized calorie shifting diet plan.

now before we look any closer into calorie shifting, let’s answer the most commonly asked questions from people on a diet:


  • How much am I actually allowed to eat?
  • How many calories can I eat each day in order to lose weight fast?

Many diets set calorie guidelines based on “body weight & height” (and sometimes they factor in “activity level” also).

Most weight loss counselors are using these same types of daily calorie guidelines too.

They instruct people to follow a specific “daily calorie limit”, which is based on their weight & height and their activity level.

They might ,for example, tell you to eat 2,000 calories per day if you weigh a certain amount and if you describe yourself as “active”.

Compared to calorie shifting this is a very hard way to try and lose weight.

 

The truth is, that it’s quite ridiculous to follow a specific calorie limit each day, since every person has a different metabolism level, which is exactly why calorie shifting works.

You cannot judge your metabolism by your activity level either, since there are plenty of people with higher activity levels but who are overweight nonetheless due to a slower than normal metabolism.

For example, if you take 2 people who weigh 165 lbs and who have the same activity level each day, then there is no guarantee that their metabolisms will be operating at the same general level.  In fact, it’s quite possible that one person’s metabolism will be nearly twice as fast as the other person’s metabolism.

Also, there is another reason why following a specific “daily caloric guideline” is not even nearly as effective as calorie shifting.

You see, your body doesn’t burn calories on a “per day” basis, your body burns calories on a “per meal” basis.  Your body doesn’t burn calories based on what time the sun rises and sets, it burns calories throughout the day as you eat them.

This means that following some arbitrary “daily caloric guideline” is not going to make you any thinner, since you must actually learn to spread out your daily food across more than 3 meals per day in order to lose weight fast, which is the basic principle for calorie shifting.

To speed up your metabolism you must eat more often, not less often.  You must eat more than 3 meals per day, and you must not follow some arbitrary caloric guideline each day. Calorie Shifting does exactly that.

Also, it’s quite easy to figure out how big your food portions need to be when trying to lose weight, and it has nothing to do with counting calories.

In fact, people who count calories usually fail at weight loss, and that’s because counting calories doesn’t work and in our hectic life’s can be somewhat disturbing.
